BOUQUET OF LOVE
Flower gardens beckon him
As he walks along the street
Whistling a happy tune
Greeting those he meets
He stops before each garden
Picks a flower here and there
A myriad of color
One special, for her hair
He reaches his destination
Throws pebbles up above
At the window of his sweetheart
His one and only love
The window finally opens
She is smiling, laughing too
He'll sing beneath her window
If she doesn't come down soon!
The flowers work their magic
And in that balmy evening air
My Dad declared his love for Mom
With flowers, from here and there!
